Since 1973, I have known about fly fishing when my husband forst took me to the mountains near Creede, where his grandparents first ventured to Colorado in the early 50's. Roads were wtill being built at that time and all were still dirt. My how times have changed that rugged beautiful landscape and the fires and beetles have worked over the trees on the mountaind from South Fork to above Lake City.
I decided to do a series of my husband's lures in waterwolor and pastels. This was a fun project.
