Brahama Brown was a study with Rita Kirkman using her style of painting on a prepared gatorboard. There are many steps to the process with a pastel grouns and acrylic paint rubbed on the surface. Then underpainting with acrylic terricotta and burnt umber. the layers of pastel are then added with a very light touch.
