Rocky Mountain High

The mountain range is near Alamosa Colorado and the evening sunset painted the Rocky Mountains a beautiful glowing color of peach. It was what artists call the 'golden hour' and I just happened to be there to witness this beautiful sight. This painting was a a speed painting with dry application of orange pastel underpainting.
